Corn Bread

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C). Grease 8×8" baking dish.
  2. Prepare egg replacer.
  3. Combine almond milk and lemon juice. Add baking soda after several minutes.
  4. In large bowl, add melted butter and sugar and wisk. Add applesauce and liquid ingredients. Combine.
  5. Add salt, cornmeal, and flour. Stir to combine until batter has a lumpy consistency.
  6. Add batter to dish and bake for 30-35 minutes. Bread will be golden brown and a toothpick will pull out clean when finished baking.
