Oil, 3 tbsp unsalted
- Place oil, popcorn, and salt in large, 6-quart, metal mixing bowl. Cover with heavy-duty aluminum foil and poke 10 slits in top with knife.
- Place bowl over medium heat and shake constantly using a pair of pliers to hold bowl. Continue shaking until popcorn finishes popping, ~3 minutes.
- Remove bowl from heat and carefully remove foil. Stir in salt that is on bottom of bowl.
- Slowly drizzle oil over popcorn, while spinning bowl. Serve immediately.
- 1 tbsp is enough oil to cook with.
- Nutritional yeast can replace butter in equal amounts.
