Pan Fried Broccoli

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Combine water, salt, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Remove florets from stalk of broccoli and set aside. Remove rough edges from stalk and fully peel. Cut peeled stalk in half and slice crosswise into 1/4 inch pieces.
  3. Cut florets into quarters.
  4. Heat oil over medium heat in large pan.
  5. Add stalks to pan and fry for 2 minutes. Do not stir.
  6. Add florets and stir once. Fry for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Mix water bowl, stir dish and add water to dish. Immedietly cover and fry for 2 minutes.
  8. Remove cover and stir. Fry until excess liquid cooks off.
